It’s rare for me to deviate from my normal blogging content
(In fact, I think this is the first time). However, I have something I wanted
to share that is close to my heart.
I am a captain of a Relay for Life team. Relay is an event
designed to raise money for the cancer research of all types. I chose to take
on this responsibility after my mother died of cancer.
My mother and I had been very close, especially after she
got sick. She decided to take on a team herself and captain it, and took me
alongside to assist. Before every meeting we would go out to dinner, laugh and
just spend time together.

But anyways, Relay is coming up this weekend. My team is
trying to raise money, and I would appreciate any donation if you are willing
